OF YOUR CHARITY, pray for the repose of the soul of Orville Fred Stoddard, who died on Saturday, April 22nd. His Solemn Requiem will take place in the Parish Church on Saturday, May 6th, at 10:00 a.m. Reception in the Parish Hall will follow. Interment is at Fairmount Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. May his soul, and the souls of all the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED to make the St. Michael’s Spring Rummage Sale a success. Your help was invaluable in the successful outcome of the Sale.

ADULT EDUCATION CLASS: today, guest speaker Kassie Kurzhals, Graduate Resident Director at University of Denver, will be speaking about student life, sharing thoughts on The Listening Post, and discussing what it is to be an “active listener”. Ms. Kurzhals did her Master’s Thesis on the subject of Active Listening. Please come and help give Kassie a warm Saint Michael and All Angels’ welcome!.

SPRING CLEANING DAY has been moved to May 20th. Sign-up sheets are in the Narthex. Many hands make for light work! Please contact Michael Greening soon if you have questions.

THE MAY FESTIVAL Outdoor Procession of the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, with Marian Hymns will take place next Sunday after the 10:00 a.m. Mass (weather permitting.) Please join us in the Parish Hall for a special Wine and Cheese Reception. Piano music will be provided by Ted Carnes. Croquet might be played on the south lawn, (weather permitting.) There is no charge; please sign up in the Narthex, so we will know how many plan to attend.

LITTLE GLASS JARS are in both arches of the Narthex on the first Sunday of the month. The money donated in the jars will be used by members of the Society of Mary to purchase food for the needy.

FOURTH ANNUAL SHREDDING DAY: Saturday, May 13st, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the church parking lot. Mark your calendars now! Contact Jean Gross if you have questions; volunteer now to help!

MEN’S GROUP HANDYMAN MINISTRY: This ministry, offered by the St. Michael’s Men’s Group, is intended to help those in our church who have handyman needs around the house, but who may not be able to perform the tasks themselves.
