THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the RUMMAGE SALE. Final figures are not available yet; however, we know that it was a great success—as well as a lot of work. To everyone who donated, volunteered, or bought: Thank you! We could not have done it without you!BOY SCOUT TROOP #457 SAYS: Shop now at their pumpkin patch at the Southeast corner of Belleview and Holly Streets–open daily from 10 a.m. to sunset, till October 31! Proceeds help support the troop!

ALL SAINTS’ DINNER will be Tuesday, November 1st. Buy your tickets now: $15 for adults; $5 for children 6 and under. Plan to attend this lovely catered Italian Dinner. The deadline is October 30th.

ALL SOULS’ DAY: there will be a Chili Supper on Wednesday, November 2nd after the 6:30 p.m. Mass. Tickets are $5 each; children 12 and under are free. Please buy your tickets by October 30th for this, also.

REMINDER: If you wish to include a list of names of the Faithful Departed to be read at one of the masses on All Souls Day, please fill in and return your signed forms by Tuesday, and indicate whether you plan to attend the 7:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or the 12:15 p.m. Mass on that day. No names will be read at the 6:30 p.m. Solemn Requiem Mass; all the sheets with names submitted will be placed in the catafalque, representing all the Faithful Departed. Please be assured all the names submitted will be prayed for at one of the said Requiems, even if you are unable to attend.

CBS: We will have our soup supper, meeting and Benediction on Thursday, the 27th, at 6:30 p.m.

2017 WALL CALENDARS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. Please pick up yours in the Narthex!

THANKS to the generosity of the parish, we were able to send a donation totaling $600 to the Benedictine Monks at Norcia, Italy, the birthplace of SS Benedict and Scholastica. This will go toward rebuilding the monastery and basilica of Norcia, which were damaged by last August’s earthquake.

DENVER RESCUE MISSION’s Christmas Dinner is now $1.92/person. Thanksgiving Day offering envelopes are available in the Narthex. Please donate to help the Mission provide Christmas Dinner!

CHURCH SCHOOL PAGEANT: Please mark your calendars for November 6th, at 9:15 a.m., in the parish hall, when the Church School presents its Annual All Saints’ Pageant. Led by our coordinators, Audrey Mailes and Margaret Norwood, and choreographed and staged by Nancy King, the pageant takes the place of Christian Education that day. This year’s theme is “Olympic Games with the Saints”! 

PLEASE NOTE: Intercession requests need to be renewed at the beginning of each month. The only exceptions are: the Armed Forces; and Aged and Infirm, for parishioners and their close relatives. All others need to be renewed each month. Please keep this new policy in mind.

INTINCTION is administered on the pulpit side of the Altar Rail, where the chalice is always administered by the ordained clergy. Please be sure to receive on this side if you receive by intinction.
