THE FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY is this Thursday. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

THE FALL SCHEDULE BEGINS THIS WEEK, with Tuesday Bible Study, and Friday Discussion Group, following 9:30 a.m. Mass.

CAMPUS MINISTRY: Fr. Gary Brower from the University of Denver will be the presenter at Adult Education and Guest Preacher at the Masses next Sunday. Fr. Brower has been invited to share his thoughts about campus ministry and his work as a university chaplain. Please plan on attending what promises to be an informative and engaging class!

SIGN-UP SHEETS for those wishing to help with the SSC dinner on September 21 are in the Narthex. Sign up today; the 21st will be upon us sooner rather than later – in just over two weeks!

BOOKS ‘n BRUNCH will meet next Sunday, September 11, in the Guild Room, after the 10:00 a.m. Mass. We will be discussing Oliver Sack’s book, On The Move. Everyone is welcome.

CHURCH SCHOOL starts next Sunday. The annual Kick-Off Picnic will be today, after the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Everyone is welcome: join us in celebrating the start of the new school year! If you have not yet signed your child up for Church School, and wish to do so, please pick up a registration form in the Narthex. Children’s Chapel will also resume during the 10:00 a.m. service, in the Mary Chapel.

OUR PATRONAL CELEBRATION is coming up on September 29th. We will have Mass at 9:30 a.m., followed by Bible Study. There will also be Solemn Mass with Incense at 6:30 p.m., followed by our Patronal Dinner. Reservations are necessary for the catered roast beef dinner. The cost is: Adults, $15; children 6 and under, $6. Please make your reservation right away!

SAVE THE DATE for the fall rummage sale: October 16th. The garage is receiving your treasures. Donations are already coming in, but there is still room for more.

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY: Urban Peak, a shelter for homeless youth, is seeking a group of volunteers to help prepare and serve pancakes one day during the week.

INTINCTION is administered on the pulpit side of the Altar Rail, where the chalice is always administered by the ordained clergy. Please be sure to receive on this side if you receive by intinction.
