FOOD COLLECTION SUNDAY IS today. Our food item for the month is canned meat, at $3.00 per can. Thank you for all who donate to help those in need.

THE FEAST OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW, the Apostle & Martyr, is Wednesday. Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 a.m.

THE SEPTEMBER ARCHANGEL deadline is tomorrow.

THE SKYLINERS will be singing next Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass, during communion. The Skyliners are a small part of Skyline Chorus (140 women), a Denver Chapter of Sweet Adelines International. THE CHURCH SCHOOL is looking for a K-1 teacher. Please contact Margaret Norwood (917-805-9249) or Audrey Mailes (417-592-6070). We hope to have a teachers’ meeting on August 27th, at which all materials and instructions will be distributed. Church School teachers’ installation will be at the 10:00 a.m. Mass on August 28th.

CHURCH SCHOOL will begin September 11th, and the annual Kick-Off Picnic will take place on the church lawn immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY: Urban Peak, a shelter for homeless youth, is seeking a group of volunteers to help prepare and serve pancakes one day during the week. If interested, please add your name to the list in the narthex. If there are enough people from the parish who are willing to contribute a couple of hours each week, people who signed up will be contacted with further information.

CROSS-COUNTRY BIKE RIDE: Joan Egan’s niece has joined a fundraising coast-to-coast bicycle ride for cancer patients and research.
