Announcements for July 24, 2016

PLEASE NOTE that Father Fraser is on holiday (until July 27th). However, this week, we will have masses every day.

THANK YOU to Father Johnson for preaching and celebrating mass today.

THE ST. MARTHA’S ALTAR GUILD PATRONAL is this Friday. Following the Daily Office at 9:00 a.m. and Mass at 9:30 a.m., there will be a luncheon at Brio’s in Cherry Creek, at 11:00 a.m., hosted by Father Fraser. Guild members, active and emeritus, please sign up in the sacristy, so that we will know how many plan to attend.

LOAVES AND FISHES SUNDAY is next week, July 31st. Please use the designated envelopes available in the Narthex, or write “Loaves and Fishes’ in the memo line of your check. Your kind donation will help those less fortunate through the Broadway Assistance Center.

ST. CLARE’S GUILD Members! We are tentatively planning a lunch for Saturday, the 13th of August. Mark your calendars, and watch upcoming Sunday bulletins and e-mails for complete information.

CHILDREN’S SUMMER MUSIC CAMP: Preschoolers’ Day will be July 30, from 10-2. Junior Choir Camp, ages 7 and up: August 13th, 10-4, followed by Evensong. Contact Nancy King for further details, at 720-273-9531 or Registration Forms are available in the narthex.

THE CHURCH SCHOOL needs teachers for K-1 and 4th-5th grade. We need to have everyone on board by early August. Please let Margaret Norwood (917-805-9249) or Audrey Mailes (417-592-6070) know if you’re interested. It’s a fun time and a great way to serve the parish!

MANY THANKS to those who helped make Mini-Church Camp a grand success this year! Your prayers and support are much appreciated. There were six campers. Fr. Johnson was the camp chaplain. Special thanks to Rachelle Stoddard, Colton Mailes, Margaret Norwood, Fr. Tafoya, Martha Stoddard, Dave Gross (who helped with transportation), Fr. Lycett (who broke bread, blessed us and the vehicles), and Jean Gross and other Altar Guild members (who were instrumental in making sure the group had all the necessary liturgical items). The campers are already talking about next year! Look for pictures, which will be posted on the website and on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. DCN Gary.
