Announcements for May 1, 2016

PENTECOST BRUNCH AND GIVEAWAY MAY 15th. Brunch tickets go on sale today. Giveaway tickets remain on sale until the moment of the drawing.

PRESENTING…THE SAINT MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS’ PENTECOST BRUNCH BUFFET! Exclusively brought to you by none other than the esteemed Busler/Hunt/Kliegel Catering Enterprises! You won’t want to miss this culinary delight, in anticipation of the Raffle and Giveaway. Brunch tickets will be on sale May 1st and May 8th. The cost will be the same as last year: $12, adults; $6, children 6/under.

ASCENSION DAY is on Thursday. In addition to our own mass at 9:30 a.m., we have been invited to High Mass at Ascension Church at 6th Avenue and Gilpin Street, at 6:00 p.m. Our choir will sing and Father Fraser will preach. Potluck dinner follows.

ST. CLARE’S GUILD’S meetings for May will be May 7th and 21st, at 9:30 a.m.

FOOD COLLECTION SUNDAY will be May 15th. We are collecting Pork and Beans at $1.69/can.

GRADUATION BOUQUET: Please let the office know if you wish to honor a graduate by including them in the graduation bouquet dedication in the bulletin on Trinity Sunday, May 22nd. Please include degree and name of school from which they are graduating. The deadline is Monday, May 16th.

SHREDDING DAY IS COMING: Pro Shred’s professional shredding truck will be in the parking lot Saturday, May 21st, 2016, 10:00 AM to 1:00PM. Jean Gross can answer your questions any time. 303-906-5446; Bob Avery will be on-site to lead the way on the 21st!

INCORRUPTIBLE is coming: “Incorruptible” by Michael Hollinger, set in a medieval monastery in the Dark Ages, June 3-19th. Go to our threater page to buy your tickets or for more information.

ALL HANDS ON DECK: It’s time to spruce up the spruces and polish the grass. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex for the spring cleaning of the church, inside and out. Join us on Saturday, May 21st to freshen the church as they shred the records in the parking lot. Clean-up will start right after mass, and we need people inside and out.

INTINCTION is administered on the pulpit side of the Altar Rail, where the chalice is always administered by the ordained clergy. Please be sure to receive on this side if you receive by intinction.
