TODAY IS DENISE LANNING’S final Sunday as Organist of this Parish. We are grateful for her two and a half years here; and, for her graciousness and professionalism in her musical leadership with both the choir and the congregation. Our best wishes go with Denise as she begins a new chapter in her life; and, we hope that we’ll see her as a visitor from time to time. Do join us in thanking Denise for all that she has done to help create the wonderful music program here at St Michael’s; and in wishing her “Bon voyage!”

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE that, starting next Sunday, January 3, 2016, Mr. Thomas Beckwith will be our Interim Organist. Tom and his lovely wife Julie started coming to St Michael’s just about a year ago; and, he has been singing in the choir almost that long. When Denise announced her impending departure, Tom indicated that he would be willing to step in to help. Tom has played for a number of churches, including our near neighbor, Christ Church. God has certainly come to our aid at this busy time of the liturgical year! Please welcome Tom as he begins a new ministry at St Michael’s in the New Year.

INTINCTION is administered on the pulpit side of the Altar Rail, where the chalice is always administered by the ordained clergy. Please be sure to receive on this side if you receive by intinction.

FLOWER AND CANDLE DONATIONS: Please contact the office to sign up for your flower and candle donations for 2016. This should be done by the first of the year if possible. If you have not yet paid for your 2015 flowers and/or candles, please do this as soon as possible. Please see the January Archangel for more information.
