Announcements for October 11, 2015

WE WELCOME THE RIGHT REVEREND ROBERT J. O’NEILL, Bishop of Colorado, as he makes his Episcopal Visitation to our parish this morning. Bishop O’Neill will be administering the Sacrament of Confirmation at the High Mass to Marci Pierce and Elizabeth Moore. After High Mass there is a brunch in the Bishop’s honor for those who made reservations. Welcome my Lord Bishop!

ST. TERESA OF AVILA WARD OF THE CONFRATERNITY OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT will meet for a soup supper and meeting this Thursday at 6:00 pm. After our dinner meeting we will celebrate Vespers and Benediction. The parish is invited. Please sign-up in the Narthex.

FALL RUMMAGE SALE: The Rummage Sale is fast approaching. Let’s fill this sale with special treasures to make it a huge success. Go through those stored boxes, hideaways, and basements. Please remember we no longer accept adult clothing. Shoes, purses and baby items are still welcome. Please plan to help the week of October 18th.

THE BROADWAY ASSISTANCE CENTER is in need of toiletries for their clients. If you have shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc from hotels or would like to purchase such articles to donate, there is a basket on the counter in the reception area in which to put your donations. Toothbrushes are welcome but must be sealed.

THE PRODUCTION OF “VISITING MR. GREEN” NEEDS VOLUNTEERS – This production, which will be presented here at St. Michael’s in late November/early December, needs many Volunteers. Please contact Mike Greening @ 303-513-0181 for more information.

NURSERY SITTER: We are in need of a Nursery Sitter. Do you know someone who would be great for our nursery kids? We pay a good wage for relatively easy and delightful (but responsible) work — mainly supervising and interacting with our young children. Kindness, humor and patience are required; childcare experience is preferred but not necessary. If you know someone, please have them contact Meg Beck at 303-489-2067 for more information.

EYC ON THE MOVE will be joining Church of the Epiphany “kick-off for the year” bowling event. Activity will be held at the Brunswick Zone – Heather Ridge, 2200 S.
