NURSERY SITTER: We are in need of a Nursery Sitter. Do you know someone who would be great for our nursery kids? We pay a good wage for relatively easy and delightful (but responsible) work–mainly supervising and interacting with our young children. Kindness, humor and patience are required; childcare experience is preferred but not necessary. If you know someone, please have them contact Meg Beck at 303-489-2067 for more information.

THE CHURCH SCHOOL PROGRAM needs just one more volunteer! We are thankful to those who have already signed on to help, but the 2nd-3rd grade class still needs a teacher. Is God calling you? Remember, this is not a multi-year commitment (unless you want it to be!). Please talk to Audrey Mailes at 417-592-6070 or Margaret Norwood at 917-805-9249 for more information.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE The Society of Mary will sponsor dinner for residents on Saturday, September 12. It is a fun opportunity to gather with your fellow parishioners and a chance to serve and interact with the residents of the house. ALL are welcome! There is a signup sheet in the Narthex and a container in which to make a donation toward the purchase of the food. Please join us!

CHURCH SCHOOL STARTS SEPTEMBER 13th! Children who will be three by the start of the church school through students entering the sixth grade should join us in the rooms above the parish hall from 9:15 am to 10:00 am. Children’s Chapel will also resume during the 10:00 am service in the Mary Chapel. There will be the annual kick-off picnic on the lawn immediately following the 10:00 am service. We hope you will all join us to celebrate the beginning of the new school year.

KING SOOPERS, SAFEWAY AND NATURAL GROCER GIFT CARDS/VOUCHERS are available in the curate’s office following each Sunday Mass. Please make your check payable to Saint Michael & All Angels’ Church, and note on the memo line “Food Vouchers”. When you purchase your gift cards/vouchers please consider buying one to help support Urban Peak – their needs are great!
