AT MASS ON FRIDAY EVENING for “The Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple,” the parish joined Fr. Fraser for the blessing of a beautiful new lindenwood carving of the Madonna and Child for the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary in memory of Robert Hoehn and Clair and Mary Vincent. Additionally, a silver sanctuary lamp for the Shrine was blessed in memory of Louis E. Smith. The Shrine itself was rededicated as it has recently been completely refurbished. Please take a few minutes to contemplate the “majesty and magnificence of God’s presence” at our ‘new’ Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the narthex.
