Announcements for November 2, 2014

THE NOVEMBER ARCHANGEL is still in the Narthex to be picked-up if you haven’t already done so.

THE CHURCH SCHOOL will be presenting “Wax Museum of Saints” today during Christian Education at 9:15 am this Sunday. The children will be in costume and have facts about their saints to share with you when you push the red button on their shoulder to get them to speak. Please make sure to be there!

IT’S AN ALL SAINTS EXTRA SPECIAL SUNDAY and everyone is invited for cake and coffee in the parish hall after the 10:00 am Mass, to celebrate the baptism of August Wagner, and first communions for Dale Abad, Mason Greene, Christian Downs, and Zachary Brehm.

ALL SOULS’ DAY is tomorrow, November 3rd. The Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am, Vespers of the Dead at 6:00 pm, Solemn Requiem Mass at 6:30 pm. The late Mass will be followed by our traditional Chili Supper. Be sure you have signed-up!

FATHER FRASER will be out of the office Thursday through Saturday this week as he will be at the Guild of All Souls.

THE SOCIETY OF MARY meets this Saturday at 10:00 am.

EYC-On the Move – The Church of the Epiphany Youth Group has invited EYC and all other young children (with parents) to their Fall Festival and Compline service. We will car pool from our parking lot. Plan to meet at 5:30 pm. EYC’rs can be picked up from our church parking lot at 8:15 pm. Church of the Epiphany, 100 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80206 720-484-9797 – Saturday, November 8th, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

THE SOCIETY OF MARY is offering a special Mass at 6:30pm on The Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple on Friday, November 21st. There will be a rededication of the renewal of the Mary Shrine with a soup supper in the parish hall to follow.

LITTLE GLASS JARS are in both arches of the Narthex.The money donated in the jars will be used by members of the Society of Mary to purchase clothes for the clothing bank at the Broadway Assistance Center.

TRANSPORTATION FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE for parishioners who, because of physical limitations, would not otherwise be able to attend church services. A per person cap of $300 has been set in order that the limited funds may be made available to a larger number of parishioners in need.
