LOAVES AND FISHES is again being collected for this Sunday. Your kind donation will help those less fortunate. Loaves and Fishes envelopes are in the Narthex.

THIS SUNDAY’S SUMMER INTERMEZZO is Cantata No. 152 by J.S. Bach, sung by Margaret and Matt Norwood. It features two arias and a duet. The first aria, sung by the bass, is Tritt auf die Glaubensbahn, followed by the soprano aria Stein, der über alle Schätze, then finally the duet Wie sol lich dich. The cantata will be framed by the organ Prelude and Fugue in E Minor (BWV 555), attributed to J.S. Bach.

THE SAINT CLARE GUILD’S PATRONAL FEAST is Tuesday, August 12th. Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 pm followed by a light supper in the Parish Hall. Today is the deadline to sign-up on the reservation sheet in the Narthex so we know how many will be attending.

NEXT SUNDAY IS FOOD COLLECTION DAY. Canned Meat @ $2.00/can is being collected this month.

THE SOCIETY OF MARY will be providing dinner on Saturday, September 6, for residents of the Denver Ronald McDonald House at 1300 E. 21st Ave. All are welcome to participate. If you would like to volunteer that day, please add your name to the signup sheet on the table in the Narthex. If you wish to contribute toward the purchase of the food, there is a jar for your donation next to the signup sheet. Stay tuned for more details.

CHURCH SCHOOL BEGINS ON SEPTEMBER 7TH, followed by the annual Kick Off for the children and their families after the 10:00 a.m. Mass. We ask that you prayerfully consider whether you are being called to teach or assist in Church School or Children’s Chapel. Church School runs from Pre-K through 8th grade. Children who will be 3 years old (and potty trained) by the start of September are welcome. Audrey & Margaret will be set up in the Parish Hall after both services this Sunday and next Sunday for you to come by to register your child for the upcoming year. You can also call Audrey Mailes at 417-592-6070, or Margaret Norwood at 917-805-9249 or by email at or to register for or volunteer to teach in this wonderful program. We are excited to serve you this year and would love to have you join us!
