Announcements for March 23, 2014

THE FEAST OF THE ANNUNCIATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY is this Tuesday, March 25th. The Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am and 6:30 pm. The late Mass will be followed by a non-Lenten Pot-luck supper. (Abstinence is dispensed for this Feast Day.)  Please sign-up in the Narthex today.

THE FOURTH THURSDAY MORNING MASS & LENTEN BREAKFAST is March 27th.  Mass begins at 7:00 am. If you would like to attend the breakfast following Mass, be sure to sign-up in the Narthex.

FRIDAY NIGHT IS THE FOURTH in the Friday evening series of Dinner, Stations of the Cross and Benediction beginning at 6:30 pm. If you plan to eat with us, please sign-up in the Narthex today.

PLEASE HAVE ALL ARTICLES to be included in the April Archangel  in the office today via email or hard copy.

DON’T FORGET THE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITY MEETING today following the 10am Mass to suggest and discuss new activities to add to our fundraising here. If you’re unable to attend, please give Meg Beck a call (303-489-2067) or email her (123mbeck@gmail.com) about your ideas. See you there!

THE ROSE SUNDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST IS NEXT SUNDAY, March 30th  right after the late Mass. This delicious treat in the middle of Lent will be created and served by our very own EYC with the help of Dr. Mark Howard and his Secret Flapjack Recipe. Tickets are on sale in the Narthex today and through Wednesday, March 26th. $5 per person, children under five are free. Get your tickets today!

LADDER CLIMBERS AND HELPERS will be needed on Saturday, April 5th, beginning right after Mass, to veil the church for Passiontide, the last two weeks of Lent. We greatly appreciate any help you can give us with this big Lenten event.

ALTHOUGH WE WILL continue to give the Service numbers for the Kyrie, Sanctus, Benedictus, and Agnus Dei, you will notice that the setting, New Plainsong by David Hurd, is collected in the purple booklets which are at the back of the Church. Thanks to the Norwoods for arranging this for the congregation’s convenience.

PAVERS: With the hardscape portion of the Legacy/Landscape Project complete and spring just around the corner which will bring the new plantings for the project, the time has come to set a deadline for ordering inaugural pavers. The deadline date is Tuesday, April 1. No fooling! This will allow time for the pavers to be engraved and installed prior to the blessing of the project.
